Great concept but sadly no good if your hob is gas. When I received them I noticed the warning to "keep a suitable distance from the heat source", but due to the nature of the product you have no control over that - it goes where it goes. So I just had to go with it and hope for the best. It lasted a while, but I found myself taking extra care and not being entirely comfortable with using the large burner as the flame ended up coming quite close to the cover. And sure enough one day when I was using the large burner the cover began to smoke and burn. It's a shame as I really like the concept, and the number of positive reviews leave me in no doubt that these will work great if your hob is electric. But unfortunately no good for gas.

Love this product. I'd read reviews on other gap fillers and there were concerns about the width or length, so I was attracted to this one due to it being described as wide and a longer length. It fits perfectly between my cooker top and the work surface, and the ridge on the underside that's offset keeps it snug against the work surface so there's no movement. The wider side goes over my cooker top but as it's silicone I have no concerns over it melting or becoming hot.Others might find their cooker top is same height as worksurface so can configure it differently. It cleans off very easily and, I chose the translucent white which is perfect as merges with my cooker and doesn't look like an eyesore. Overall, very impressed and highly recommend.

I purchased these as I was sick of having to pull my oven forward to clean down the sides. Our oven isn't completely flush with the counter, with the oven sitting maybe 2mm higher than the counter side, however we still thought these were worth a try.We had to cut them down a little to fit, which was fine - obviously ovens come in different sizes - and a pair of kitchen scissors cut through them easily. When fitting we found it easiest to start from the back wall and push the seal down as you move forward - but keep your hand on the back part of the seal, otherwise they slide.The part of the seal that sits between the oven and the counter isn't quite long enough for us, which means the seal often comes out of place and moves around, and is then quite difficult to slot back in without moving the oven. They also come loose when I wipe them clean, which is frustrating but still better than having to move the oven to clean. This could be due to to the fact that our oven and counter top are not the exact same height as mentioned earlier.Overall these seals definitely save me time when cleaning, and I'd rather have to keep sliding them back into place than moving my oven!

This is a genius invention! We have recently had a kitchen fitted but there remained a slight gap between the new cooker and worktop and we were worried about food falling down and not being able to clean it.This product has been a game changer because it prevents that issue from happening. There’s no worry about cooking either as it’s silicone and heat resistant and cleaning this is even more simple. I love the fact that you can remove it whenever you want and also it can easily be cut to size.We ordered the black and it blends in so well with the our oven that you can’t tell that it is even there.

Arrived quickly, good price but ineffective because it was folded up into a small bag and wouldn't lie flat, even after a couple of days. The piece that fits between the cooker and the worktop was too thick for both sides to be fitted. The side that did fit would not lie flat because of the enforced kinks caused by folding for delivery.This product might work for others but not for me. Folding it for delivery and forcing it into a small bag however suggests that it won't.

Ive tried similar before with no joy. But this one is big enough to cover the gap and cling onto the worktop without keep popping off. Its great. But expensive.

Does the job, wish I’d bought them years ago!!No more food dropping down the unreachable sides of cooker when cooking up a stir fry 😁Very pleasedEasy to fit, just lay over the gap and trim the end to size. Clings to surface so when you’re wiping over they don’t slide about, but easily removed to wash etcAs I said before, something I wish I’d had years ago

Spent ages cleaning the food drips/debris down the side of our range - disgusting! We moaned how gross it was and stuck strips of masking tape over the gap so it wouldn’t happen again - obviously that looked ridiculous! Then we found these strips on Amazon - fantastic! They do a great job and are barely noticeable. We laugh in the face of splashes and spills now - easily wiped away with a cloth. Great job, definitely a worthwhile purchase.
