Q: Does the eagle blow over in the wind?

First, this is a gift so I don’t know for sure. But I did open the package to look at it. I believe this eagle will need to be weighed down to keep it stable. It is a very nice piece but not heavy

Q: How big are the openings in the base between the crossbars? Could it fit over a piece of angle iron in the ground to help secure it?

We put ours way up in tree, so wouldn't be able to tell you.

Q: Where was this eagle manufactured?

I bought it over a year ago, sits up in a tree, so really don't know, assume China!
