I was told by the seller this harness will for the my 2012 Toyota Sienna with JBL system. I provide a photo of the radio model number, the front of the radio, and the back of the radio showing all the connectors. The Android radio power up, but not sound at all.

I have an 2010 Toyota RAV4 limited which has the JBL system and also the rare steering wheel buttons on both sides.My car was more difficult because not many older cars with factory JBL system implementation.I have tried another harness with more useless sockets, wich didn't even work.I went online to find very little info. This wiring harness did not have the many useless plugs as others have.I saw the pics here with similar radios and although my radio had one more plug, I decided to try it.Not only did it work flawless for all my speakers working on the JBL system (4 plus back woofer), but I was also able to program ALL the buttons on my steering wheel (!), which I was not expecting at all! The sound quality is clean and good. This harness simply works. 👍

I tried a number of different options, even mixing some to try to make it work… none of them worked correctly until I found this one.It was not “plug and play” for me, as I had to cut off the 16pin connector and rewire it to my new radio, but that was very easy to do.

Like others, I decided it was time for an audio system in our reliable 2008 Toyota Highlander (with JBL radio/amp but not nav). I did I some research and learned that a lot of plug and play wiring interface options existed with varying degrees of sucess. Having a fair amount of aftermarket stereo install experience, I decided to give it a go and ordered one of the big display android touch screen radios. Apparently none of these come with any sort of wiring directions. It came with a harness that had an absurd amount of connections. Well, two of them fit the car harness and one fit the radio, so I gave it a go. I ended up with power, and even audio, but I could not get SWC (steering wheel controls) to work. And the audio was louder than it should have been. Ok, so back to the internet. Knowing the JBL system needed low level inputs, I assume the harness I had didn’t accommodate that and the little magic box didn’t allow the SWC communication either. I ordered another harness off Amazon that said it was for my application, but upon arrival it clearly was not (didn’t have any compatible harness connections). Next I tried this one….It had the right connections (2 required) for my Highlander. After making the connections, powered it up and first check passed, we have audio, not as blantantly loud as the other adapter, but I managed to find and tweak some output settings in the radio setup to reduce the output level. Unfortunately the audio quality was great. I had to adjust with the radios equalizer and finally got a decent response range, but the quality still was really “clean”. I also noticed, I had very minimal back speaker volume. The fader on her radio didn’t adjust the audio at all. I read that was usually an issue and this confirmed it. On the plus side I was able to get the SWC programmed and functioning with the radio, so that was a win. However after a few days of diving with it, the audio quality and lack of fader was just bothering me too much. I decided to bite the bullet and purchase a much more expensive interface, but one that has actual support and a track record for proper operation, including fader support.

So I purchased a aftermarket stereo for my 2009 Toyota Tacoma DCLB TRD Sport with JBL. I have sent back a few that said they were compatible but were not. This harness finally worked and the sound quality so far is nice. Steering controls worked too.

I bought this for a 2011 toyota sienna and the none of the plugs on this harness fit any of the plugs in the sienna. 2 of the wires also came out of the connector when I took the harness out of the box.

only one plug work to original plugs. if someone knows how to install to 2009 toyota camry with JBL sytem please share.

Compre un estéreo Android para mi Toyota rav4 2008 y no quedó las plogas no daban entonces me agarre investigando y mire este arnés y mire varias reseñas y que me anime a pedirlo y me llego y quedo súper bien sin tanto cable innecesario y el estéreo funciona súper bien y como trae sistema de jbl con amplificador original no tuve problemas de nada sus funciones de audio en el volante funciono muy bien recomendado al 100%

This is an excellent time saver for Toyota w/JBL. Made my android stereo install super easy and sound quality is excellent with the audio enhancer attached to it.
