Lovely bread
I use 500g and mix in my food mixer for around 8 or 9 minutes. Divide into 5 rolls and put into my large round baking tray. Leave them to double in size (around 30 minutes) and then bake for 16 minutes turning at 8 minutes. So easy to make and fantastic flavour very popular 😛.

Easy but very good
Fantastic,,,, I have had a bread maker for many many years not the same one🤨but always a Panasonic, this has been the easiest flour mix, some times using strong white flour and yeast have given inconsistent results, very annoying. This I will try in my kenwood mixer also...sadly it contains soya, but most breads do as of now...it’s not a time waster it’s a real helper

Bread mix wonderful but bags split
I have used this in a breadmaker and for making rolls, however, every bag was split, as it was incorrectly sealed down the side. Not enough overlap, not enough glue. I couldn't resell it and had to pour all the mix into other containers before the mix poured all over the floor.

Check sell by date
After having read favourable reviews about this flour I decided to give it a go. This was not a good idea. The flour arrived, four large bags, and the sell by date on all of them was for the end of August 2020 - the flour was received on the 25 August. Usually manufacturers sell short dated products at a discount but not this time. I paid the full price. Not only was the flour about to go out of date but three of the bags were damaged on arrival. The whole episode has been very depressing and is not yet resolved.I hope my unhappy experience is a warning to other bread makers.

Fantastic bread. Just add water. Good bb date too. Thank you.
Certainly increased our ability to support shielding and reduce unnecessary trips. Fantastic bread. Just add water. Good bb date too. Thank you.In case your wondering about price gouging it’s worth noting that if you factor in £10 delivery (as charged elsewhere for this very heavy box) then little more than one pound a loaf. Yes, pre mixed bread flour does cost more per loaf than mass produced bread. A catering pack might even that out a bit but home delivery will add more.

Short BBE date!
Product and delivery excellent, but BBE date is July 2020. I am never going to get this it used by then! Will not order again because of this, but the Hovis product itself is very good.
