I am a Physician and not related to the product in any ways. Wanted to get a good product for my mom that has better absorption and less side effects. Reviewed the literature and found this one. Spoke to CEO, who happened to be a physician, regarding the concerns that ethylene glycol contained in the product. My question was what is the amount, as it is not written on label. The amount contained is 100.3 and is too small to cause any damage. The pill is big and 4 tab will provide the 100% RDA of Magnesium. If you have deficiency than you might need to take extra. The problem is there are not a lot of products that can give you absorbable magnesium. So someone has Mg deficincy, the best bet will be intravenous administration as taking tab will take a lot of time to replenish. Thats what the guy told me.. They have sold over 2 million tabs. Ethylene glycol is a slow release compound, slowing the release of Magnesium so it does not cause diarrhea and Mg can be absorbed better...I used it. It did not dissappint. Did not cause any GI discomfort. So far I am happy with this product. Can take upto 2 tab twice daily. But i did not take more than 2 due to Gi concerns. It is the best recommended product in medical literature.
