Four Stars
As indicated a little small but very easy to maintain.

Gone but still in the family
This pot may be little but it is without a doubt the best little tea pot available. It made a great small pot of tea each and every time I used it. My granddaughter now has it and she is enjoying the "fruits" of that awesome pot.

Weird surface that looks like vaguely metallic, or a powder that you can't wash off
2018 EDIT:Bumping up to 4 Stars. I wish the seller could have responded to me. I’ve since learned it’s unlikely Japanese pot makers would use anything unhealthy in the clay. So for design and functionality, 4 Stars. The only negatives are,—-1— it could be easier to clean out sencha with your fingers. And—-2—- although very practical for deep steamed senchas, the metal screens get tea smell behind the screen where I’m not sure if I can clean. Not a deal breaker, it’s just that green tea doesn’t seem to create a nice smelling patina.2015:I tried to ask but my question was deleted. I'm hoping the seller will read this and give me more information about the Clay. I would like to know the surface is just Clay without anything weird on it.The pot appears very functional which is why I bought it for Japanese sencha and guyokuro. The problem is the surface of the clay is weird, and I don't want possibly unhealthy weird stuff getting into my tea when I drink it. Other than this I love the pot, but this problem is a dealbreaker.I've had many Chinese play pots in the past, where you boil them in water, and the manufacturing wax and oil is cleaned out of the clay pores. And then the clay smells very nice. Japanese pots are glazed, but this is the first time the surface of a clay pot has weirded me out. I want some assurance that this is not some kind of coating. At first I thought it was some kind of powder, but after I rinsed the pot it was still there. Then I boiled the pot for about 20 minutes, and it was still there. It's hard to see in a picture, but in the picture I added, the best place to see it is on the inside of the spout. I was unable to figure out how to contact the seller, and I was unable to ask the question, because someone just deleted it. If I can't figure this out I have no choice but to return the pot.

Great for Gyokuro!
Perfect size for gyokuro service. Nice quality pour for not a high cost.

I should have read the description more carefully.
Was much smaller than I expected. Works well but brews only a small cup of tea.
