Saved me from an OEM PC case's proprietary cable setup
I ended up needing this because of the Omen 30L case's front USB cable only being long enough to connect to the OEM motherboard. Worked perfectly and now this spare parts PC is running like a charm.

I had always thought that USB extensions would be nothing but trouble. Initially, it wouldn't work at all, but after swapping things around it seemed that it just comes down to whether or not the motherboard can support it. Worked just fine with no issues on all newer boards I tested it with, older generation eventually worked after some finesse but who knows if it will keep working.This is definitely a quality cable and is required for proper strain relief and cable routing. I'm glad it eventually worked out for me but it would be nice if I could rely on it. Seems it wasn't the products fault it didn't work.
