After using this for the first time ( and it did the job when it comes to shaping the pasta dough) I washed it on the sink like any other metal piece and the thing just turned black. Tried to clean again and now it looks like in the attached photo.

I read some of the other reviews and was a bit unsure as whether to buy these or not.I found them to be great!You need to remember these are "stamps", not cutters so you will have to use a reasonable amount of force to push down on your pasta and a little easing away of the dough from the edges is needed..Because it stamps, not cuts it does seal down the edges very nicely, and I have had no leaks when cooking the ravioli.They are sturdy and comfortable to use.As long as you are not expecting these to cut easily you won't be disappointed.

The round one works perfectly, the square one doesn't cut properly on 2 sides which makes life a little interesting! Not as hardwearing as I was expecting but maybe my expectations were a little high. They both do the job, just needs a little more perseverance with the square one. Great for first time experiments but if you're a little more experienced you would want something a little more hardwearing.

Definitely not dishwasher safe, read other reviews. The product info on Amazon clearly states dishwasher safe but the packaging says it isn't and it isn't dishwasher safe for absolute sure. I threw them away and bought another brand.

Received these recently and they were delivered attached to a card as shown in ads. Unfortunately instead of one round and one square I have 2 round ones. I can therefore only review that one. Works fine but I cant be bothered to do an 8 mile round trip to return them. Very dissapointing quality control.

This is completely mis-advertised. It is aluminium material with a plastic handle. It is not dishwasher safe. It is lightweight and dull. Do not waste your money

These cutters are fine and cut nicely. However, I made the mistake of putting in dishwasher and they are definitely not dishwasher safe. They came out covered in a nasty grey residue which got all over my hands and I had to scrub them with a brillo pad as it was not something that you could just wash off. Maybe I missed it but am pretty sure that it did not say hand wash only.

These are NOT stainless steel. The coating comes off if your wife accidentally puts them in the dishwasher. This ruins them and that would not happen to stainless steel so easily. Underneath they were more like lead and left residue on your fingers.
